KOCH WELCOMES STUDENTS TO THE STATEHOUSE: State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) welcomes members of the Youth Leadership Academy from the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County to the Statehouse, Thursday, Oct. 27. Koch shared an overview of the legislative process and his duties as state senator and chair of the Senate Committee on Utilities in the Senate Chamber.
Students pictured are freshmen from Bedford North Lawrence and Mitchell high schools. Through a partnership with the Becky Skillman Leadership Institute, academy members have the opportunity to meet community leaders and tour the Statehouse, as well as businesses in the Bedford area.
