STATEHOUSE (Dec. 8, 2023) — "The return of commercial air service at the Purdue University airport may be long overdue, but that doesn't mean it was easy to get done. This would not have happened without Tippecanoe County's ability to get local leaders, university leaders and state elected officials working in harmony. We also need to thank the State Budget Committee for approving $3.6 million in funding for runway repair and rehabilitation during a meeting in September.
"This service will help our community continue to grow in smart, sustainable ways that will lead to even more air service and economic prosperity in years to come. Tippecanoe County's best days are still ahead of us."
