State Sen. Scott Alexander (R-Muncie) made the following statement regarding the announcement of READI 2.0 recipients:
STATEHOUSE (April 11, 2024) – "Today, the recipients of the Indiana Regional Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) 2.0 were announced.
"I am thrilled to see Delaware and Randolph counties will receive a portion of a $35 million award for the East Central region. This funding will support quality-of-life initiatives and improve economic growth in our area.
"I commend local leaders for taking the time to apply for this beneficial program, and I am looking forward to seeing the projects and opportunities that will be made possible through this grant.
"I would also like to thank all of the participants for their efforts, input and great discussion all through the process."
