STATEHOUSE (Jan. 28, 2025) — "My heart goes out to the victims of the shooting that took place yesterday. I am extremely grateful for the brave efforts of the officers who were called into action and acted quickly to end the horrific event. The families of the victims, the injured officers and their families, and all those who are feeling the effects of the shooting are in my thoughts and prayers. The Elkhart community always comes together to comfort one another during times of tragedy, and I encourage those who are able to offer support and assistance to those feeling the impact of this tragic event."
