State Sen. Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute) made the following statement today in response to the passing of Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse:
STATEHOUSE (July 24, 2024) – "Like many Vigo County residents, I was saddened to hear of the passing of Sheriff John Plasse.
"John dedicated his life to protecting others, and I am forever grateful for his service to our community and neighbors through his time with both the Vigo County Sheriff's Office and Terre Haute Police Department.
"I will continue to keep John's family, friends, the Vigo County Sheriff's Office and all local police officers in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
