STATEHOUSE (Oct. 21, 2024) — State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg), chair of the State Fair Advisory Committee, is requesting public comment at the end of the committee's first annual meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m.
Before the period for public comment, committee members will evaluate the 2024 Indiana State Fair. They will also discuss and plan for future fair dates and review the Indiana State Fair Commission’s financial reports.
"I am looking forward to meeting with stakeholders on the State Fair Advisory Committee to ensure we can best celebrate the agriculture sector's rich history at the Indiana State Fair for years to come," Leising said. "I also hope constituents and others from around the state will let us know how we can make the State Fair the best it can be."
