STATEHOUSE (June 27, 2024) — State Sen. Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute) will serve as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation in preparation for the 2025 legislative session.
"Interim study committees are important because they give the General Assembly an in-depth look at topics ahead of the upcoming legislative session," Goode said. "I look forward to meeting with my fellow legislators and officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation to review road renaming requests that honor Hoosiers who have done great things ahead of the upcoming session."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
