STATEHOUSE (June 27, 2024) — State Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) will serve as vice chair of the Interim Study Committee on Public Health, Behavioral Health, and Human Services and as a member of several other study committees in preparation for the 2025 legislative session.
Charbonneau's other assignments include:
"I am pleased to continue my work researching ways to make health care more accessible and affordable for Hoosiers," Charbonneau said. "As the General Assembly continues to search for ways to lower health care costs for Hoosiers, I am also interested in learning more about corporate medicine practices and whether there are public policy changes that could benefit Hoosier patients."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
