STATEHOUSE (June 27, 2024) — State Sen. Dan Dernulc (R-Highland) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2025 legislative session.
Dernulc's assignments include the Interim Study Committee on Government and the Governor's Commission on Supplier Diversity.
“Interim study committees are a great way for legislators to stay engaged during the interim, and study up on topics that may become a focus in the upcoming session," Dernulc said. "I look forward to heading to Indianapolis this interim to participate in these important discussions as well as work on legislation I plan to file during the 2025 session."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
