Sen. Deery welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 5, 2025) – State Sen. Spencer Deery (R-West Lafayette) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"The Senate Page Program is a great way for young Hoosiers to strengthen an understanding of a state government," Deery said. "One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role as senator is the ability to teach our students about crafting meaningful legislation and inspiring our young pages to get involved."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
