Sen. Buchanan welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 26, 2025) – State Sen. Brian Buchanan (R-Lebanon) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"The Senate Page Program provides a deeper understanding of state government for young Hoosiers," Buchanan said. "It gives our future leaders an important connection to their legislature that goes beyond the classroom, and I always enjoy meeting the students who participate."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
