Sen. Alexander welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 26, 2025) – State Sen. Scott Alexander (R-Muncie) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"Meeting pages is something I always look forward to during the legislative session," Alexander said. "The Senate Page Program offers Hoosier students a great way to learn about their state government, and I encourage all parents and schools in my district to consider signing up their students for this unique educational experience."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
