STATEHOUSE (May 31, 2024) — Qualified individuals in Franklin and Union counties may be eligible for one of several disaster relief loans following severe weather earlier this month, said State Sen. Jeff Raatz (R-Richmond).
"I am grateful for disaster relief being available to our community after the storms and tornados we had earlier this month," said Raatz. "I encourage residents to take advantage of it and hope our community can recover quickly."
Several types of disaster relief loans are available for qualified individuals.
There are credit requirements to obtain all of these loans. Loans applications can be submitted online at the MySBA Loan Portal, and residents can call 1-800-659-2955 for assistance or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
A Disaster Loan Outreach Center will also be open at the Brookville Library to connect residents with assistance and answer any questions. The center is open at 919 Main St. in Brookville from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays until Thursday, June 13 at 4 p.m.
