Donato receives Senate committee assignments

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 8, 2022) – State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve on six committees for the 123rd Indiana General Assembly.

Donato will serve on the following Senate committees:

• Commerce and Technology;
• Education and Career Development;
• Elections;
• Family and Children Services;
• Health and Provider Services; and
• Utilities.

"Committees serve as such an important part of the legislative process by allowing Hoosiers the opportunity to share what issues they want us to take a closer look at," Donato said. "I look forward to starting this session and working with my colleagues on legislation that will further benefit our great state."

The 2023 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 22. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 9.
