CLARK SIGNS HIS FIRST TWO SENATE ENROLLED ACTS: State Sen. Brett Clark (R-Avon) signs his first two Senate enrolled acts, Senate Enrolled Act 218 and Senate Enrolled Act 219, which tidy up areas within Indiana's criminal justice system. The measures, authored by Clark, improve the collection of data regarding people released from jail with a monitoring device and clarify the language in Indiana's trespassing statute to ensure a law enforcement officer has the appropriate authority to respond and engage in trespassing situations. Both acts now move to the governor's desk for his consideration.
