Zay named to Senate committees

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 5, 2024) – State Sen. Andy Zay (R-Huntington) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve on four committees for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.

Zay will serve as a member of the following Senate committees:

  • Commerce and Technology;
  • Environmental Affairs, ranking member;
  • Pensions and Labor; and
  • Utilities.

"It is an honor to serve on these committees, each representing an opportunity to advocate for Indiana communities and ensure constituents are heard," Zay said. "I am committed to bringing diligence, integrity and collaboration to each committee, and I will work toward solutions that will benefit the great state of Indiana."

The 2025 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 19. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 8.
