Thrive Afterschool is an organization that provides afterschool activities and programs for young students. The organization brings in guests, works with students to improve motor skills and hosts events in the Mount Vernon community to ensure every child has the tools to reach their full potential.
"I had the opportunity to learn about and participate in activities offered to students, and I had a great time," Tomes said. "Thrive is a wonderful organization that provides great programs to our local community."
