State Sen. Stacey A. Donato (R-Logansport) made the following statement in response to Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2023 State of the State address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 11, 2023) – "Yesterday, Gov. Holcomb outlined his 2023 agenda and shared our state's impressive accomplishments over the past year.
"The governor's plan addressing mental health, addiction, maternal and infant mortality, and assisting our veterans in need of mental health resources is encouraging to hear. We need to take a hard look at what we can do to continue improving in these areas, as well as other public health issues, such as our declining life expectancy and low rankings for obesity and smoking compared to other states.
"The health of Hoosiers has always been a priority of mine, and I plan to continue to work with my fellow lawmakers on legislation that promotes a healthy state."
