Statement from State Sen. Ron Alting

State Sen. Ron Alting (R-Lafayette) made the following statement today in response to
Gov. Mike Braun's 2025 State of the State address:

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 29, 2025) – "I was happy to hear Gov. Braun talk about his initiatives to lower property taxes for Hoosiers across Indiana, a priority mirrored by Senate Republicans in Senate Bill 1.

"In recent years, Hoosiers have been understandably frustrated with increases in their property taxes, and I look forward to having important discussions about property tax legislation this year.

"I am also looking forward to working with the governor and my colleagues in my efforts to reduce regulations for small businesses across Indiana this year through legislation like Senate Bills 107 and 109.
