Statement from State Sen. Jim Buck

State Sen. Jim Buck (R-Kokomo) made the following statement today in response to Gov. Mike Braun's 2025 State of the State address:

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 29, 2025) – " I am very encouraged to see Gov. Braun address the issue of government efficiency and accountability. It is clear he has a plan to improve productivity in our state government, and I am grateful he is looking to collaborate with legislators to further identify opportunities for efficiency.

"Another important topic the governor brought forward was the importance of the freedom of choice for parents when making decisions about their child's education. School choice has been a top priority for Senate Republicans for years, and I am grateful to see the governor also sees its importance.

"I look forward to working with the governor and my colleagues on these and other topics in the future."
