State Sen. Daryl Schmitt (R-Jasper) made the following statement regarding the conclusion of the 2025 legislative session:
STATEHOUSE (April 25, 2025) – "As I reflect on the end of the 2025 legislative session, I am pleased to have been part of important discussions about the future of our state.
"I feel fortunate to have served the constituents of Senate District 48 and help pass a balanced budget that will ensure government accountability and transparency.
"While the session is over, I will continue to meet with constituents over the interim and look forward to working with my colleagues to make Indiana an even better place to live, work and raise a family."
