State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek) issued the following statement regarding the passage of the federal tax reform bill:
STATEHOUSE (Dec. 21, 2017) – “Tax reform at the federal level is a critical step toward moving our economy in the right direction. In fact, it is what the Indiana legislature has done for years – cut taxes. The lower taxes in Indiana have strengthened our economy and made us the fiscal envy of the nation. This tax bill will put more money in the hands of job creators, small and large. Reducing the tax burden on American families makes good economic sense, and I applaud the Administration’s efforts to make this a reality.”
