Sen. Zay welcomes local student to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 28, 2025) – State Sen. Andy Zay (R-Huntington) welcomed Upland resident and Eastbrook High School student Milo King to the Statehouse to serve as a Senate page in February.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"I always enjoy meeting with local students like Milo who have traveled down to Indianapolis for the day to watch the legislative process in action," Zay said. "Being a Senate page is a unique learning experience that I encourage more eligible students in the community to take advantage of."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
