STATEHOUSE (April. 21, 2025) – State Sen. Daryl Schmitt (R-Jasper) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in March.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"I am proud to say the Senate Page Program has given a deeper purpose to the role I play as a new state senator," Schmitt said. "This program provides ways for young Hoosiers to learn more about their state government, and it is great to meet with our future state leaders."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
The 2025 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in signing up their child for the 2026 program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program at the end of 2025 for more information. More information about the Senate Page Program is also available on this site.
