Sen. Glick welcomes local student to Statehouse
STATEHOUSE (March. 3, 2025) – State Sen. Sue Glick (R-LaGrange) welcomed Angola resident and Angola High School student Liam Young to the Statehouse to serve as a Senate page in February.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"It is always a pleasure meeting local students who have made the long trip down to Indianapolis to serve as a page for the day," Glick said. "The Senate page program is a unique way to teach students about the importance of civic engagement and state government. This is a great program, and I encourage those in Senate District 13 who are interested to sign up."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
