STATEHOUSE (Feb. 21, 2024) – State Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"I'm always happy to see students from my district participate in the page program," said Charbonneau. "Serving as a Senate page is a great way for students to see how our state government works firsthand, and I would encourage more young Hoosiers to participate."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
