STATEHOUSE (Feb. 25, 2025) – State Sen. Ron Alting (R-Lafayette) welcomed the following students from Lafayette to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
"The Senate page program is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role as senator," Alting said. "This experience connects young Hoosiers of all backgrounds and allows our future leaders to gain a more personal insight into the operations of their own state government."
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
