Holdman to chair Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy
STATEHOUSE (Dec. 4, 2024) – State Sen. Travis Holdman (R-Markle) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.
Holdman will also serve as a member of the Senate committees on Appropriations and Rules and Legislative Procedure.
"Financial responsibility is a priority for Hoosiers, and I am committed to ensuring their hard-earned money stays in their pockets," Holdman said. "As this is a budget session, discussions about Hoosier finances will take priority, and I am confident my fellow legislators share the goal of being responsible stewards of sound financial policy."

The 2025 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 19. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 8.
