Purdue University student gains experience at Indiana Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 12, 2025) – Ryan Riddlesperger is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2025 legislative session, said State Sen. Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute).

Riddlesperger, a resident of West Lafayette, is the son of Mike and Anna Riddlesperger and is currently a senior at Purdue University studying political science.

"It is an honor to work with motivated interns like Ryan that contribute fresh perspectives," Goode said. "I am passionate about helping interns navigate state government and investing in our next generation of leaders and I' glad to have I'm on my team this session."

As a legislative intern, Riddlesperger tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and assist these great senators as they work hard for the Hoosiers they represent," Riddlesperger said.

Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by April 29.
