Merritt Greets Chinese Delegation

MERRITT GREETS CHINESE DELEGATION: State Sen. Jim Merritt (R-Indianapolis) presents a gift from the State of Indiana to Yu Chunxiao, Deputy Administrator for the National Railway Administration and the Chinese Delegation Lead, during the China Freight Rail Operations Reverse Trade Mission.

This reverse trade mission, supported by the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and the U.S. government, connects companies to China to introduce and facilitate exporting of local goods, services and technology. It also provides a forum for U.S. companies to learn about China’s equipment needs, projects, and development of China’s freight rail network.

USTDA’s efforts have resulted in 51 Indiana companies exporting goods and services, totaling $110 million.
