STATEHOUSE (Feb. 18, 2025) – Ella Chalecki is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2025 legislative session, said State Sen. Kyle Walker (R- Lawrence).
Chalecki, a native of Lebanon, Ohio, is the daughter of Jeffery and Susan Chalecki. Chalecki graduated from Lebanon High School in Ohio and is a senior at the University of Cincinnati studying political science.
"Ella is such a great intern to have during the legislative session," Walker said. "She is smart, eager to learn and ready to engage in any task set before her."
As a legislative intern, Chalecki tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.
"I am excited and proud to be even a small part in this state's legislative process and work toward the common good," Chalecki said.
Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by April 29.
