Johnson named to Senate committees
STATEHOUSE (Dec. 4, 2024) – State Sen. Dr. Tyler Johnson (R-Leo) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve on five committees for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.
Johnson will serve as a member of the following Senate committees:
"As a father, physician and state senator, I am happy to serve on these committees and bring a unique perspective to topics posed in our conversations," Johnson said. "My medical background fuels my passion for creating policies that prioritize patient care, support healthier communities and help families have access to appropriate resources."

The 2025 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 19. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 8.
