Two bills sponsored by State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) passed the Senate and will now return to the House of Representatives for further consideration.
An amendment authored by State Sen. Greg Goode (R-Terre Haute) that would create a local oversight board to ensure transparency and accountability in managing county resources for potential school improvements was added to a bill in the Indiana Senate Committee on Education and Career Development today.
