Applications Open for the Indiana Education Scholarship Account

Thursday, March 6, 2025

Hoosier parents of children with disabilities can now apply for the Indiana Education Scholarship Account (INESA) for the 2025-26 school year.

Created by the General Assembly in 2021, the INESA scholarship provides eligible K-12 students with disabilities and their siblings access to funds that help find an educational environment that best meets their learning needs, such as private education, at-home learning and other qualified non-public educational settings.

Those who apply can earn up to $20,000 in educational funding to support a variety of qualified educational expenses, like tuition and fees, transportation costs, therapy services, tutoring and more.

Parents should always have the ability to choose the educational environment that best fits their children's needs, and even more so when attempting to meet the unique educational needs for children with disabilities.

This scholarship not only welcomes school choice, but also provides support to families who are trying their best to help their children navigate through a life with disabilities.

The INESA application deadline is Sept. 1, 2025. To learn more and apply, click here.
